This week the first “professional” review arrived. It reminded me of a really powerful life lesson.
Thanks for stopping by, Dear Reader!
I’m Alice, also known as Allie, and I love to write, from letters to blog posts to books.
I’m a transplanted Southern gal, who’s blessed to have recently retired from a rewarding career in education and downsized from a home I loved.
Life was pretty good before, but now, it’s great, and more God-filled than ever before! My joy is found in Jesus and finding ways to encourage His kids.
My prayer is that if you need a faith booster, a chuckle, or a dose of hope you’ll be able to find it here at Allie’s Praise!

How about a nice piece of pie to bring a little energy to your prayer time, Dear Reader? I've cooked up a fresh one and giving away FREE slices of a NEW RESOURCE to add a bit of flavor to your quiet time.

What faithful readers think about Allie's Praise...
Alice, I love the picture you portray of God. I imagine He does have a big smile as we come upon that revelation, that revealing of His truth that we need right at that moment.
I’m sorry you lost a child. I know it was years ago, but we never forget, do we? I love that you got to see your baby girl in the sonogram. I can understand your wonder.
Grateful for a very present God in the midst of trouble. Love this beautiful reminder.
You so well explained how Jesus lived in a chaotic world, but didn’t live a chaotic life. He was not surrounded by peace but lived in peace. He is peace. He is what we need. May we tell others of his peace.
Thank you, Alice, for calling us to step out in obedience, even when the challenge seems to be beyond us. It probably is but if God calls us, He will surely equip us with all that is needed. Thank you & blessings!
